RMC's unique acoustic pickups feature individual sensors for each string. This allows perfect string-to-string balance and virtually no cross-talk so each note speaks clear and true. Also, the individual RMC sensors provide exceptionally accurate MIDI tracking.
For best performance, the Acoustic Gold pickup should be used with a matching RMC Poly-Drive II or IV preamp. Custom filtering in the preamp delivers more natural reproduction of a mono signal. The preamp also provides the ability to drive a polyphonic processor, guitar synth or MIDI converter.
Installation instructions are straightforward. Because these are individual saddles, they can be installed into any bridge width. Individual string height adjustment is performed by shimming the saddle. They fit into a standard 1/8" guitar bridge slot.
