AER Amp One. Small in size but rich and big in tone. For ALL basses.
The AER bottom line AMP ONE is at once a highly compact yet also highly efficient little powerhouse of an amp. Here is proof that specifications alone often are deceptive. Why?
Well, some might simply glance at its 1x10 speaker, 200 watt RMS rating, and electric bass description along the front and in so doing miss the broad "real life" capabilities of this terrific AER amp: less than 30 lbs and it can bring down the house.
As with all AER amps there is quality. Size and sound frame the goal of all efforts in design and manufacture. Reliability in all playing situations.
Here at SOUND ISLAND Music, we auditioned the AER Amp One with a traditional acoustic Double Bass, an Upright Electric Bass and and electric bass guitar. We're in complete agreement with AER when they state:
"TRUE REPRODUCTION AND CLEAR DEFINITION WITH SUBSTANTIAL SOUND PRESSURE MAKES THIS COMPACT COMBO AN EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR A HANDY "TOOL" OF YOUR MUSIC."
The intrinsic sound with all controls set "flat" immediately communicate an sense of sonic authority and foundation. Making use of the few but highly useful controls allow for a wide range of possibilities to fine tune your sound.
Accessing the semi-parametric function of the midrange, tone balance and compressor functions along with the EQ enable the AER AMP ONE to partner for an acoustic set of music to a funk/slap gig. And it's a quality sound. Impressive really.
The back panel shows an array of input/output options too. Headphones. Pre-Post EQ DI with level control. Sub out. Even a tuner jack.
Everyone can use a small combo amp that simply delivers. And with AER products, you're assured of longevity and reliability. We like this amp here at SOUND ISLAND Music. Give us a call or send us an email to discuss how the AER Amp One might work for your particular needs.
