The Acoustic Image Clarus 1 Series III Integrated Amp is the latest version of the little head that started a new trend in amplification.

Like it's original predecessor, the Clarus 1 is a single channel integrated head unit with no built-in effects.

The Clarus 1 features a combination input and 38v phantom power to accomodate either a 1/4" instrument input or a microphone, a filter system to control feedback and a DI system for patching into a PA board or recording console. Weight is under 5 Lbs.

Acoustic Image has pumped up the power. The newest Clarus is rated at 250 watts RMS @ ohms and 400 watts RMS @ 4 ohms. This makes a noticeable difference and the sound is more transparent even at very high SPLs.
