The Schertler PRE-AIII preamplifier is the solution for those seeking an outboard preamplifier with equalization adjustments in addition to gain and volume controls.

The Schertler PRE-AIII works exceedingly well with most any pickup input but was specifically designed to complement the Schertler DYN-Series Electrodynamic mics, STAT bridge pickups and BLUESTiCK transducers. The PRE-A's class-A constant-current technology provides studio quality sound control while ensuring maximum dynamic range.

The PRE-AIII's bass, treble and resonance controls enable a wide selection of tone settings. Critical for acoustic instruments, however, is its ability to control the amount of "acoustic dimension" in the instrument's response depending on the volume levels required for the gig.

The PRE-A also allows for split outputs (one with equalization, one dry) giving additional flexibility for stage application.

PRE-AIII provides switchable phantom power. Phantom power is required for the Schertler BLUESTiCK Marine under-saddle acoustic guitar transducer.
