Like its predecessors, the Alessandro mini Comins generates a muscular 60 watts RMS of warm high-headroom clean all tube tone...yet the mini stands only slightly over 1 foot high...barely taller than the 1x12 speaker itself...and weighs in at only 34 Lbs / 15 kilos!

The "mini" Comins 1x12 by Alessandro is a unique all tube | valve combo amp specifically designed for all manner of Jazz guitars and the guitarists who play them. The mini Comins by Alessandro proves that good things do indeed come in small packages and that tube amps continue to have their place in the Jazz guitar world.

The Comins Jazz Amp combo is available in three models: the "mini" 1x12 shown here, plus a "standard" size 1x12 and 2x10. Each has its own character.

The Comins 1x12s have a robust tube/valve sound with big and warm overtones plus substantial clean headroom. It's the musical equivalent of a thick steak. There is a certain softness to the attack giving the Comins 1x12 models almost a vintage playing feel, yet the amp is able to deliver those goods at near ear-splitting SPL levels while retaining full composure.

At very high volume levels the Comins 1x12 models can eventually develop a slight compression to the notes, similar to many of the classic Jazz guitar recordings made during the late 1950s-early 1960's. In this sense, the Comins 1x12 is an excellent choice for any Jazz voiced guitar with built-in humbucking pickups including electric Archtops, semi-hollow and solid body guitars.

Simply stated: one great amp for Jazz guitar with a voice all its own...and what a voice!
