SKU: 31
The all TUBE/VALVE Comins Jazz Guitar Amplifier made by George Alessandro and voiced by renown luthier Bill Comins.
This is the standard for a hand-built, higher output tube amplifier voiced specifically for archtop Jazz guitars. And at 39 Lbs, it can be transported without the use of a forklift.
"...THIS KIND OF RESPONSIVENESS AND DIMENSIONAL SPARKLE IS SOMETHING THAT I'VE ALWAYS ASSOCIATED WITH TUBE CIRCUITRY. WE WERE SHOOTING FOR A SOUND THAT WAS WARM AND COMPLEX, WHILE BEING THICK, ROUND, PUNCHY AND ALIVE."
-Bill Comins, Luthier
The Comins Jazz Amp combo is available in two models: a 1x12 and a 2x10. Each has its own character.
The Comins 2x10 model is an ideal answer in a tube/valve amplifier for the Archtop player who seeks clear reproduction of a guitar's tone. Housed in a semi-closed back cabinet, the 2x10 produces a focused and well controlled low end. Coupled with the amp's high headroom and fast response to mids and upper harmonic transients, the 2x10 speaker configuration is a perfect choice for Archtops with floating pickups.
