This is the standard for a hand-built, higher output tube amplifier voiced specifically for Jazz guitars. And at 39 Lbs, it can be transported without the use of a forklift.

The Comins Jazz Amp combo is available in two 1x12 models and a 2x10. Each speaker configuration has its own character.

The Comins 1x12 has a robust tube/valve sound with thick warm overtones and substantial clean headroom. There is a certain softness to the attack giving the Comins 1x12 model almost a vintage playing feel, yet the amp is able to deliver those goods at near ear-splitting SPL levels.

At high volume levels the Comins 1x12 model can eventually develop a slight compression and edge to the notes, similar to many of the classic Jazz guitar recordings made during the late 1950s-early 1960's. In this sense, the Comins 1x12 is an excellent choice for electric Archtops with built-in humbucking pickups.
